The Lucas Heights Community Advisory Committee meets quarterly to discuss the operations of the Lucas Heights 2 landfill, the closed Lucas Heights 1 site and related environmental and community topics. The Community Advisory Committee is independently facilitated. Members of the group include local residents, neighbouring businesses and Sutherland Shire Council. New members are always welcome.

The Lucas Heights CAC
Terms of Reference define the role and scope of the CAC, responsibilities of members and operational protocols.

The Terms of Reference are currently being reviewed. A draft of the proposed Terms of Reference for 2012 onwards can be downloaded
