Site Procedures and Conditions of Entry
1. Please first report to the weighbridge.
2. You will be asked what is in your load, and be required to identify all materials. If unsure, please advise us.
3. Please also inform the weighbridge operator if you have any separated recycling on board. You may be required to drive around the weighbridge twice, once to drop off recyclables and once to drop off chargeable waste.
4. Your vehicle will then be weighed.
5. If you are a non-account customer and are paying by cash, you may be required to leave a cash deposit at the weighbridge before disposing your waste. The minimum cash deposit is $20.00.
6. If you are a non-account customer paying by credit card or EFTPOS, you may be required to leave their credit card or driver’s licence at the weighbridge until your transaction has been completed.
7. You will be directed to the designated re-use, recycling or disposal area to unload.
8. After unloading your waste, please then return to the weighbridge.
9. Your vehicle will be weighed again and you will need to pay based on the weight of the material disposed - being the difference in weight of your vehicle at entry and exit.
10. NB: LPG cylinders and household paints will be charged on capacity. Click here for further information.
11. You will then receive a receipt identifying the type, weight and price of waste disposal.
Hand unloaded vehicles
Please hand unload your own vehicles. If elderly or disabled customers need assistance, please phone Customer Service before your visit to ensure someone is available on site who is able to assist.
Tipping vehicles
As a driver, you are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is on level ground before tipping. The rear doors of the vehicle must be closed and the hoist lowered before leaving the tipping area. No tip-over axle trailers are permitted on landfill sites.
